The University of the Philippines Manila Alumni Association, Inc. (UPMAA) is inviting all UP Manila alumni to the UPMAA General Alumni Homecoming, to be held on October 24, 2008, Friday, 6:00 p.m. at the Maynila Ballroom, Manila Hotel, Ermita, Manila, with the theme “UPMAA Paglingon sa Sandaang Taong Pagkalinga.”

This year’s homecoming promises to be a colorful, musical extravaganza, featuring the launching of the UP Manila Locator Map and Service Handbook and the presentation of the UPMAA Centennial Legacy Projects by UPMAA President Francis C. Lingad and Rolly Pagaspas. There will also be a mini-fashion show with selected UP Manila student participating, and the awarding of medallions to Royal Diamond and Diamond Jubilarians.

As tribute to the UP Manila alumni and jubilarians, the homecoming will also include musical numbers by popular singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid, the UP Indayog, the UP Manila Chorale, and Ed Zialsita and his Band. Keynote address will be delivered by Department of Social Welfare and Development Secretary Esperanza I. Cabral.
