Mira Gamba (member of UP Center for Nationalist Studies in late 80s to early 90s) was illegally arrested yesterday along with 3 other Gabriela-Quezon members in Sampaloc municipality, near Tayabas Quezon.
They were temporarily detained at the PNP Sampaloc headquarters but was forcibly taken at 12:30 AM this morning by the military.
Gabriela and Bayan Muna members who were keeping vigil were threatened by members of the 76th IB not to accompany the detainees. Military and police refused to state where they will be brought.
No charges have been filed against them.
