Teresita Leonardo de Castro (LLB ‘79), Sandiganbayan presiding justice, has been appointed associate justice of the Supreme Court, GMANews.tv reported today.
De Castro also chairs the Sandiganbayan Special decision that convicted ousted President Joseph Estrada of plunder.
She is also an alumna of the University of the Philippines Sigma Alpha Sorority and the Portia Sorority. She was a consistent college and university scholar during her college days.
