The University of the Philippines Diliman condemns the brutal and senseless killing of Merwin Galang Mendoza, a fifth year Geology major at the College of Science at UP Diliman. We are outraged by the killers� brazen and capricious display of violence�stabbing a defenseless student for whatever material reward they had hoped to gain.
